Dr. Polawat has been involved in many Health IT projects including the setting up Region 2nd Health data center which covers more than 3 million people in 2010. He was also involved in implementing Hospital information system in Somdej Praja Taksin Maharaj Hospital and Medical College by using Private cloud platform. He was part of the ICD10 Thai modification committee and the Chairman of Informatics section of Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeon Thailand.

Recently, Dr. Polawat and his team debuted the Health datacenter cockpit for monitoring public health activities of all the permeant secretary office service units over Thailand. He is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement specialist and the Founder of the Thai Hip & Knee Society. Dr. Polawat is a graduate Master of Science, Information Technology and Management and COBIT 5 Foundation-certified.
